David Hobart

Dave Hobart is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the financial and coaching sectors. His career, spanning from 1994 to the present, showcases a deep expertise in trading, investment management, and performance coaching. Starting as a Proprietary Trader at Bankers Trust Australia Ltd, Dave quickly established himself in the financial world, working in Sydney and Brisbane, Australia.Dave's career than progressed with significant roles such as Senior Proprietary Trader at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and than Macquarie Group, where he refined his trading skills. In 2005, he took on the role of Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Apeiron Global Macro Fund, a position he held for nine years. Concurrently, in 2006, he embarked on a path in performance coaching, focusing on emotional management and risk handling for other traders and hedge fund managers. This marked the beginning of his dedicated involvement in performance coaching.Following the acquisition of Apeiron by Blue Sky Alternative Investments in 2010, Dave served as Managing Director there for five years. He than further established his coaching credentials in 2016 with PsyQuation, taking on the role of Director of Performance Consulting, where he specialised in enhancing trading performance.Since 2018, Dave has been active with Digital Currency Markets, concentrating on digital assets and equity markets.
