Daniel Lachance, trainer, consultant, educator and past programmer, has worked in the IT field since 1991. Over the decades Dan has held many certifications includingCompTIA Security+™, A+®, Network+®, Server+, Cloud Essentials, Cloud+, as well as various Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services certifications.He is the owner of Lachance IT Consulting Inc based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Dan has worked in various capacities as a computer programmer, network and server consultant as well as an IT security auditor. He is also an experienced trainer, having delivered IT training online, in Canada and in the Caribbean since the 1990s on topics ranging from the enterprise use of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services as well as UNIX, Linux, IT Security, Lotus Notes, Novell products, and many more topics.Dan enjoys spending time with his spouse, Tammy, their children Roman, Trinity, Abby and Jacob, families and friends, and the family dogs, Dori and Louis. He also enjoys jogging, reading non-fiction books and listening to, writing and playing various styles of music.
