FORMIP: The Path to Successful CCNA CertificationMy name is Damien. In my previous job, I worked as an office worker in telecommunications. I was part of the old school, the days when the telephone lines were still at low speeds.With all the technological changes of recent years, communication protocols have changed too.If I wanted to continue in my job, I had to acquire new skills and integrate deeper knowledge.The need to retrainThe old telephone world has become that of the modern computer network.So, I had to move in this direction to improve my professional situation.The only solution for me was to get training, to acquire a recognized and validated certification, and to master the requirements of the position.So I took advantage of my Personal Training Account, which is the right of any employee during his or her working life, in order to get training.My goal was to take the exam to get the famous CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification.This is a diploma that allows you to become a computer network administrator.It felt as if I was going back to school, because the path I had chosen was the classical method of training: face-to-face trainingThis meant 10 days of on-site training, and the program actually included 280 hours of theory and instruction, 60 of which were practical training hours.Fortunately, the company where I worked was supportive of my approach to studying and allowed me to attend the training during certain working hours.The difficulty of the courseI applied myself to memorize and repeat the exercises, and I arrived at the day of the exam feeling confident.But it ended in failure.And yet I had spent whole evenings revising!In addition, I think I'd never been more attentive in class, especially compared to my high school years. I'd equipped myself with all the necessary instruments:Full educational contentRecommended laboratory toolsThe full bibliography recommendedWas my learning ability rusty? What was going on?There was no question of me giving up.My professional development depended on this.I confess that it was also a matter of personal pride.I wanted to pass this exam no matter what.That's when I decided to learn more about everything related to the CCNA.I even joined a virtual community that allowed me to optimize my learning.Thanks to the advice of the other members, I got an exam simulator and got into the habit of practicing in a Cisco IOS environment.I also discovered how to determine my weaknesses in designing a revision plan.The Road to SuccessI realized that to get the CCNA, you had to have a real preparedness strategy.If I had had the right learning method from the beginning on my journey, I would not have wasted so much time.Indeed, in total, it took five years before I managed to earn my Cisco ID (CSCO) on the third attempt.That's why I created FORMIP.Its goal is to help those who want to prepare for a professional retraining and develop new skills to pass the exam.For this, I use the benefits of e-learning to optimize learning.In addition to the courses, students can ask questions and benefit from clear and easy-to-understand explanations.Plus students have access to knowledge tests to detect possible weaknesses.The goal is to face the exam with calmness, but above all to have the necessary knowledge to succeed.Having encountered many difficulties in obtaining my first Cisco certification, today I share my experience in training, mainly in e-learning.IT certification is a powerful professional lever, which is why today I help people take the best path to achieve their professional goals.IT certification has never been so close!Damien S.Network Trainer and Manager of the training organization FORMIP
