Brenda is an award-winning educator, proven communication coach, and sought after speaker. Over her career, Brenda has shared her expertise in influential communication, empathy, emotionally-intelligent leadership, and more with a wide audience, from college freshmen to top level executives at Fortune 500 companies. As a Senior Lecturer at the nationally ranked Kelley School of Business, Brenda coaches corporate executives and future leaders on communication and leadership skills. She works with undergraduate and MBA students alike in areas such as crafting outstanding presentations, projecting credibility, and reducing communication anxiety. Her dedication to her students is punctuated by the awards she has been given, including the Outstanding Faculty Award from the Executive MBA program at Sung Kyun Kwan University, the Trustees Teaching Award, the Innovative Teaching Award, and multiple Student Choice for Outstanding Faculty awards. Brenda is also the co-owner of a communication and leadership consulting group, Team Performance. Through Team Performance, Brenda is able to coach teams in areas such as building trust and credibility, design thinking, and customer service. She has provided guidance to an impressive roster of clients, including Procter & Gamble, the NCAA, Carlisle Inc., Chinese International Marine Containers, One America, and many more.
