Aspen Olmsted

Aspen Olmsted is an Associate Professor at the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Aspen earned a Ph.D. inComputer Science and Engineering from The University of SouthCarolina.  Before his academic career, he was CEO of Alliance SoftwareCorporation.  Alliance Software developed N-Tier enterpriseapplications for the performing arts and humanities market. Aspen’sresearch focuses on developing algorithms and architecturesfor distributed enterprise solutions that can guarantee security andcorrectness while maintaining high availability.  In his Secure DataEngineering Lab at the Simmons University, Aspen, mentors over adozen graduate and undergraduate students yearly.
