Ashlea Evans

Ashlea is an international TV Reporter, Media Trainer and Communications Specialist. After years of interviewing individuals who struggled with on-camera performance, Ashlea founded The King's Speech to help train delegates on how to make the most of their media interviews and presentations.Ashlea has a Master of Science in Communication from Lynn University in Florida, USA, a certificate in Corporate Communications from Cornell University, and a certificate in The Global Financial Crisis from Yale. She spent seven years living in the USA, where she worked on Capitol Hill before returning to broadcasting.Previously, Ashlea worked for CNBC Africa, Business Affair, ABC News and Al Jazeera in Washington, DC. She has reported from The World Economic Forum, The Mining Indaba, The World Bank and the JSE; Ashlea has interviewed some of the world’s most prominent business professionals, South Africa's top politicians and figures. Ashlea regularly presents at events, MC's and contributes to various media outlets. She also guest lectures at the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town.
