Laurie Russell

Hey there, I'm Laurie!  I’m a Graphic Designer, Digital Artist, and basically a lover of all things creative.  I've been drawing since I was big enough to hold a crayon, and I haven't stopped since - now I do art for a living!  I'm based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest (Washington State, USA).  I’ve worked with a variety of clients, from large companies to small startups, to individuals and small businesses - in many industries - over the past 15 years.

I have a passion for the union of Technology + Art. My mission is to help your ideas take flight by sharing tips, techniques, and tools to empower Creators of all types to experience the joy of art - and to have fun doing it. Sound good?

When you think about creating Art, how do you feel?  Are you excited about the idea of a new creative project?  Or do you feel anxious and overwhelmed at the thought of something that you don’t have the knowledge or experience to do?  No matter where you find yourself on this spectrum, I'm here to help! If you need step-by-step guidance, I have classes for that.  If you're more advanced, I'll show you how to take class projects to the next level.

I’ve been a teacher for quite a while, from Preschool to Adults, and I love seeing the “light bulb” come on in someone’s eyes.  Although we won’t meet face-to-face on Skillshare, I look forward to seeing your Projects and answering your questions.  I can’t wait to see you in class!
