Chris Rasch

Hello, I'm Chris.  I'm originally from St. Louis, Missouri but currently reside in Dallas, TX with my beautiful wife and my two little kiddos!  I received my Master of Fine Arts in Visual Effects Animation back in 2011 and after I graduated, I was fortunate enough to get a job as a professional visual effects artist for over 6 years working at an animation studio in Dallas, TX.  Some of the films I worked on include The Book of Life, Freebirds, Rockdog, and Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas.  I've also had the pleasure to work on attractions such as Universal Studio's Despicable Me: The Ride and Rockettes to the Rescue for the Radio City Rockettes in New York.  I'm also a digital illustrator in my free time!  I'm currently a professor in the Multimedia Department at a college in Dallas, TX teaching Visual Effects and web development.  I'm a big fan of anything that involves technology and art!  I really hope that the classes I make here will help someone else gain the knowledge to create awesome film-quality visual effects and gorgeous digital illustrations!
