Throughout this course, Increasing Mental Health Awareness for Improved Inclusiveness, you will be presented with animated scenarios to show how to increase mental health awareness and develop policies to support, protect, coach, and mentor those affected by mental illness. You will begin by discovering the common mental health disorders including depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder for increased empathy and support. Next, you will explore how to support mental health in the workplace by creating awareness and working with your team to develop initiatives that will support those who are experiencing mental illness. Finally, you will learn how to promote mental health awareness in your organization. By the end of this course, you will be able to support mental health initiatives by removing the stigma in your workplace for improved inclusiveness.
