    Description

Wide Excel sheets with many rows are hard to read. Make your Excel experience more pleasant. Learn how to use alternate row or column formatting to avoid eyestrain and make your spreadsheets easier to read and much more appealing.

How can you keep your eyes from skipping from the row you are reading? Simply alternating the color of odd or even rows will help. Wouldn't it be nice to know you are evaluating a row that is grouped together with other similar rows? Why not color fill all the rows belonging to the same group? Columns can be color banded too.

I will begin by showing you the easy ways to use Conditional Formatting and Table Styles to your advantage. I'll teach you how to color fill alternating rows by color filling all of the even rows.  You'll learn how to modify existing rules.

Then I will teach you how to do something you don't often see that will make your spreadsheet viewing much easier. I'll show you how to color band alternating groups of row sets. You can color band column sets too. I'll show you step by step with downloadable resources and explain why it works. I have discovered and developed these techniques from working with Excel throughout my career. Now you will be able to benefit from my knowledge instead of having to reinvent the wheel. You'll be able to test your knowledge with quizzes, and keep the downloaded spreadsheets for reference. In less than an hour, you'll gain the ability to improve your own spreadsheets to the delight of anyone who uses them.
