  • Description

Sonic Academy welcomes back Hyper Production's Rory Webb this week for an in-depth look at the awesome Soundtoys 5 bundle.

With 20 different plugins at your disposal, the majority of which have been emulated on classic pieces of hardware, Soundtoys have provided everything you need in one package to manipulate and process your audio in endless ways.

In this course Rory takes a detailed look at each of the plugins available, lifting the lid and exploring all of the functions and showing us what they're capable of, with real-world examples.

From delays, distortions and phasers through to EQ's, reverbs and pitch shifters Soundtoys 5 is an epic addition to your effects arsenal, and with the included option of racking them up, you can not only save on CPU but also save a unique chain of effects to use in your tracks.

    Go check it out!

    Instructor's Courses
With his career starting back in 2009, Rory has gained a significant amount of experience in many fields, from DJ’ing & Producing to Engineering & Teaching, so it’s fair to say he knows a thing or two about music. Working under aliases such as Bailey and Knightley which, focuses more on electronic music, has proved his worth in Production, Sound Design, Remixing and Songwriting. In 2015, Rory started up Hyper Production on YouTube which focused on providing high-quality Music Production Tutorials, Gear Reviews, and Interviews. This has now evolved into producing Audio Sample content as well as the Development of Plugins. Back in 2015 Rory was also busy working as an Assistant Engineer at the iconic Metropolis Studios in London where he was involved in sessions with the likes of David Guetta, Adele and Clean Bandit, all but to name a few. He then went onto becoming Assistant Engineer at Toby Smith’s Angelic Studios in Oxfordshire working with the likes of The Marmozets, Emile Sande and Skepta.
