Description

In this class I will show you how to setup your Mac computer for web design by going through the apps I use almost daily. They’ve made a significant difference in the way I work and I believe it will be the same for you.

In this class you will learn:

What design software you should use
How to pick colors from anywhere on the screen and create color palettes
How to organize your fonts and icons so they’re just one click away
How to measure and distance or dimension from anywhere on your screen
How to take great screenshots and share them with your team or clients

By applying what you learn in this class you will design faster and more efficiently. I’m a strong believer in always using the right tool for the job so that’s why the apps I’m about to show have been used and tested and I can highly recommend them to you.

Now, this class is fantastic for beginners because you’ll benefit from my years of trial and error and you will get a head start in your web design journey. If you’re a more seasoned professional, you might find some cool apps you had no idea about so definitely check out the class.

I'm Adi and I'm a web designer from Romania.

Ever since I laid eyes on a computer (I think I was about 8 years old), I had a thing for design, user interfaces and colors. And video games. Later on in life, I had the opportunity to put my passion to good use and I started creating logos and simple websites. Fast forward several years and here I am, having the opportunity to share my knowledge and passion for web design with you.

I've now been working as a web designer for more than a decade, I've been teaching for a couple of years and I want to keep doing that for the foreseeable future. I want to create courses that are easy to follow and offer great value to students.

I'm happily married and have 2 kids. Well, 21 kids actually if you also count the 9 dogs and 10 cats.

In my spare time I love to work in my garden, tend to the chickens and also do a bit of woodworking. I'm not terribly good at that last bit, but so far I only managed to get injured once so I think I'm on the right track.

My goal is to help you become a better web designer and developer so thank you for joining me in this quest.
