Description

Throughout your design journey, you must have come across the concept called ‘Golden Ratio’ a few times. Golden Ratio is a very interesting concept that has been evidently in existence since the very beginning of human civilization.

Golden ratio is a unique mathematical relationship between two numbers essentially, a ratio that is approximately equal to 1.618. Its presence can be found anywhere and everywhere like flowers, animals, architecture, paintings, natural landscapes, etc.

This natural phenomenon is also deliberately practiced in the design field as it is believed to be something that involuntarily instills the feeling of visual pleasure and aesthetic importance in the viewers' minds. This is all the more reason to clearly understand this concept and its use, and this is what we look at in this class.
