A former Military Doctor, I've ended up moving into technical education and absolutely love it.Having taught myself to code many moons ago (fairly badly!), I built a coding scheme in the military, which has become the largest in the UK Public Sector - with over 4000 graduates.I then secured a role in 10 Downing Street, where I was a founding member of the PM's Data Science Team. I focussed most of my time in training senior Politicians and Officials in how to work with data more effectively - building a 'Data Masterclass for Senior Leaders' which got rave reviews and has had over 2500 senior UK leaders take it.In my most recent role, I was CTO (Chief Technology Officer) of a large military unit. I recruited and trained our first operational Software & AI Team, which were the deployed on operations around the globe.I now run a tech education company called Inversity which seeks to draw on all this experience to provide a compelling alternative route into Technology roles for those University isn't a fit for.
