We take the first lesson to layout the differences between all this new terminology, then we jump right into creating our project by learning how to use CINEMA 4D projects in After Effects. We learn ways to speed up your workflow with the render settings and how to use cameras interchangeably back and forth between both software. This training is full of helpful tips for getting some of the tougher parts of the CINEWARE interchange working for you. Issues like shadows and stacking order are explained in-depth so that you can let your creativity flow. This tutorial assumes that you have had intermediate experience in After Effects and beginner to intermediate experience in CINEMA 4D. However, we take a step-by-step approach so you can follow along. If you've never used CINEMA 4D before, it is highly recommended that you watch the Beginner's Guide to CINEMA 4D. Laura is a passionate visual effects and motion graphics author at Pluralsight. Ever since her first exposure to After Effects in college, Laura has had an eternal drive to learn more about motion graphics, and teach others what she has discovered. Laura began working at Digital-Tutors (now a Pluralsight company) as a motion graphics artist, creating visually-appealing advertisements and informative art for the site. Throughout her time at Digital-Tutors, Laura contributed greatly to both the After Effects and NUKE libraries of content – their own digital David Blaine, breaking down the “movie magic” and sharing it with others. She has also written content for 3D Artist Magazine. Her favorite projects are her two in-depth After Effects introductory courses on Pluralsight, which were each built around training motion artists and VFX artists, respectively. Using her vast skill set, Laura has taught thousands of artists everything from shot-tracking and rotoscoping to motion design.
