  • Description

Combating gender bias in the workplace helps everyone, not just women, but how do you identify it, and what are the most effective ways to fight it? In this course, inclusion expert Lori Nishiura Mackenzie guides you through what you can do to foster a more equitable workplace. Lori explains why this course is for everyone and why it’s important to talk about gender bias. She goes over errors that these biases can create, when bias happens, and the types of biases you may encounter. After an informative discussion on intersectionality, Lori dives into three ways you can identify bias at work. She also highlights specific strategies you can use to fight bias, like doubling down on criteria to block bias, redefining success in confronting bias, and formulating questions that help fight bias.
