    Description

Problems are rarely 100% technical.  They require communication, connection, self-management, teamwork and collaboration.  Learn the essential skills which are often overlooked. These skills are not taught in school. Improve your ability to solve problems, thrive on teams and lead others.  This course is taught through the lens of the technical professional. Learn from three instructors with a combined 65 years of professional experience.

This is Part THREE of the three-part series. In this part of the course, you'll learn about teamwork, collaboration and leadership.  Taught by two former military officers, the principles described in these lessons have been proven to work.  You will learn how to conduct meetings efficiently and effectively to improve collaboration.  Then you'll learn the foundations for building teams and how to work together.  It's not often that we think about how to make decisions as a team.  The team decision-making lesson will give you a framework to follow.  To wrap up the course, you'll be exposed to leadership fundamentals that work.  Regardless of your position in an organization, you can be a leader and inspire others.

This course is built for the technical professional.  We understand your work because we're in the technical field ourselves.  Our objective is to pass on tools and techniques that we wish we had earlier in our careers.  If you can incorporate these skills in your professional and personal life, you'll make a bigger impact on your teams and have the tools to emerge as a leader.

    Who this course is for:

    • Anyone in a technical career field seeking to improve your ability to work on teams, collaborate, conduct meetings, make collective decisions and exercise proven leadership principles.
