Review

"This book is the perfect resource for someone to get started with Salesforce. Sharif and Timothy have done a great job in laying out the foundations for Salesforce in this book. The book provides you with a comprehensive introduction to Salesforce. It provides a practical and fundamental-based approach making it a great book for beginners. The book also includes a few chapters that are slightly more complex toward the conclusion of the book leaving you with a strong base to learn and explore further."

Amit Chaudhary, Salesforce MVP (Salesforce Technical Architect)

"As the book explains, this is targeted to people who are "new to Salesforce and learning from scratch" and it does hit that mark. It is a step-by-step guide for those who want to know "What is Salesforce?" and may not have any technical reference on the Salesforce platform.

The context of the book takes us on a "standard" sales organization that uses Sales Cycles with Stages, Leads, Campaigns, Accounts, and Contacts. Many organizations don't follow the cookie-cutter pattern that the book lays out, but it is a great starting point to understand the capabilities of the CRM functionality of Sales Cloud.

New in the 2nd edition, is a deep dive into Flows, which is a great addition and worth the time to read. I found this section of the book to be very valuable and will refer to this in the future.

Overall, I am glad this resource is available to new and growing Salesforce Users. Thank you, Sharif!"

It's thorough without being overwhelming and is a great reference for folks who have been using Salesforce for a bit. I highly recommend this book!"
