Ali Emadi received his BS and MS with the highest distinction from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, and his Ph.D from Texas A&M University, College Station, USA. He is currently the Canada excellence research chair in hybrid powertrain and director of the McMaster Institute for Automotive Research and Technology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
