He has designed and built recommendation engines, consumer banking platforms, and mobile applications, as well as business and consumer facing e-commerce SaaS platforms. Recently he leveraged his technology background to build business, product, and IT strategies for companies like O.C Tanner, State Farm, and USAA Insurance. He is passionate about creating high performing agile teams, and building software architectures that are lean yet scalable and perfectly fulfill the business need. He developed a keen interest in Lean principles while building manufacturing systems - and is constantly looking for new ways to leverage those concepts to improve IT. Tom holds a dual bachelor degree in Computer Science and Business Information Systems and an MBA from Westminster College/Gore School of Business.
