    Instructor's Courses
Hi! My name is Vincent Resendiz. My day job is doing freelance bookkeeping & licensed insurance agent, but I love to build things in excel & python in my free time. I have a lot of experience in media doing the filming & editing for: music videos, content for people’s social medias, podcasts, I felt creating courses was a great way to combine all my past skills and experiences together. I really enjoy the process of creating course even if I am a bit camera shy. I’ve committed the last 6 years to learning everything I could about excel & finance and I wanted to share everything I learned so far.Who am I?I’m from California, USA. I was pretty much a loser through my late teens and early twenties. I didn’t do much of anything during those years. Since about 2017 though I got sick of doing nothing with my life and committed to changing. It took a while but I eventually dropped the substance abuse problem and went all in on gathering skills and experiences. I started a catering business behind my number one passion: Cooking. I ran that for a couple years until I decided to go down the finance route. Cooking is a passion for me that I would rather do in my time as a hobby. I noticed I had a knack for excel started building spreadsheets to examine stocks for my portfolio and just ran with it. I discovered python in 2021 and while that has been slower to develop that skill it is coming along. I have built a couple things like my workout progress app that I use to track my workouts. I used my experience running the books at the catering company to go into freelance work after a company wide layoff at my job left me jobless. It was a blessing in disguise as it allows me the time to spend doing what I love: cooking, building projects, creating courses & learning more skillsWhat will you learn here?Main topics here: Excel for Finance, Personal Finance,  Business Finance, PythonI’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge by creating courses that are easy to follow - and most importantly – USEFUL to you. I believe you learn best by doing. So I plan on creating courses to get you doing instead of just listening to me talk for hours. I am looking forward to connecting with you in the courses. I am still new to this, but I will do my best to give you the most value possible. I will also be updating the courses regularly to create even more value.Feel free to contact me. I’d love to know what course topics you guys want to see.All the best, Vincent :)
