Back in 2006, I was pretty good at Digital Performer 4. Then I had a hemorrhagic stroke. I had to learn everything again (talk, walk, eat). My home studio, and my guitars & Bass sat unused. I started to hear about one handed guitar playing. I had some unfinished projects from DP4. I recently updated to DP10, and bought some books on how to use it, but found them lacking the very basics of using DP10. I came across this GROOVE3 site, and I immediately ordered "Digital Performer 10: Recording & Editing Audio Explained". I was Immediately taken by the clarity of this series. It is in "bite-sized" pieces, and is easy for me to understand. I opened my old projects, and followed along. Guitars I have are electric, acoustic, and nylon string. I'm starting to relearn playing with one hand. I have a ways to go, but I'm sure I'll be up to speed in a while. Thanks to GROOVE3 (I never heard of them before) for helping on my journey!
