  • Description

This course will teach you what you need to know to develop and extend a Salesforce Community with code.

    What You'll Learn?

Even though most communities can be built declaratively, there is sometimes a need to further customize the experience through code. In this course, Developing and Extending a Salesforce Community Experience with Code, you will learn about the opportunities that exist for extending a community with code. First, you will explore how to build and customize a community using either Visualforce or Lightning Components. Next, you will discover ways to handle component security through Apex Managed Sharing and enforcing object and field permissions. Finally, you will learn how to extend your communities reach to other Salesforce clouds and Salesforce communities. By the end of this course, you will understand the ways you can enhance your community through the use of code-based solutions.
