  • Description

The individuals and organizations that succeed are the ones who are laser focused on the customer. Even if you're not in a customer-facing role, knowing how your job connects to your customers gives you a better frame for strategic decision-making, and helps you feel more connected to the purpose of your job. This makes you feel more motivated and more fulfilled at work. In this course, Lisa Earle McLeod and Elizabeth McLeod help you connect the dots between your job and customer impact, and they provide strategies and behaviors for keeping your customers top of mind. They explain how to determine where you fit in your customer's world, and how to keep the focus on the customer when you talk about wins, goals, and mistakes. They also share strategies for sustaining your service mindset-even when your organization isn't particularly customer focused.

Named the #4 Sales Expert in the World by Global Gurus. I'm a strategy consultant, executive coach, and keynote speaker (with deep experience in virtual presentations) who has worked with clients including Salesforce, Roche, Google, LinkedIn, Hootsuite, Volvo, and Dave & Busters. We've helped our clients drive exponential revenue growth and win Best Place to Work awards (at the same time)! I write regularly for The Harvard Business Review, Forbes, and LinkedIn Learning, and was recently named to Marshall Goldsmith's 100 Coaches, as one of the top thought leaders and coaches in the world. I'm also the author of five books, including the global bestseller, "Selling with Noble Purpose: How to Drive Revenue and Do Work That Makes You Proud." I wrote "Selling with Noble Purpose" after my research revealed that salespeople with a purpose bigger than money, who truly want to make a difference to their customers, outsell salespeople focused on targets and quotas. My other books include, "Leading with Noble Purpose" and "The Triangle of Truth" which The Washington Post named a Top 5 Book for Leaders. I'm delighted to that say I'm one of LinkedIn Learning's most popular instructors, delivering over 25 courses, including "Selling with Authenticity" and "Finding Your Purpose at Work." In 2022, my course 'Leadership Tips, Tactics, and Advice' was named the #1 course you needed to future-proof your career. I've had the privilege of working with leaders around the world. I've helped start-ups drive exponential growth, and large firms galvanize their teams. I was fortunate to be featured in The Wall Street Journal and Fortune, and have also appeared on The Today Show and NBC Nightly News. Previously, I worked as a sales leader at Procter & Gamble, and later at Vital Learning as VP of Sales, where our team doubled new business growth and increased recurring revenue by 50%. In addition to my business books, I've also authored a collection of humor essays, that was featured on Orpah.com, and my first book, "Forget Perfect" was the subject of a segment on Good Morning America. I help leaders drive revenue and do work that makes them proud. At McLeod & More, our work focuses igniting emotional engagement and rallying teams around the Noble Purpose of customers. We work with amazing companies like Cisco, G Adventures, SalesLoft, and Vidyard. My undergraduate education is in Advertising and I have a Master's in Organizational Psychology. Outside of consulting projects, I get to travel around and do super purpose-focused stuff, like speaking at LinkedIn Talent Connect, facilitating a "Millennial Talent Intervention" program for a school system, and designing virtual learning bursts for a global sales team. Some of my work has been on NPR and in The Wall Street Journal. I've also authored 15 LinkedIn Learning courses, including my personal fave, "Leading Yourself."
