  • Description

In this Groove3 video tutorial series, DAW pro Gary Hiebner brings you in-depth videos on the basics and intermediate audio editing in the new Cubase 10! Learn all about Cubase 10's powerful audio editing features and capabilities, and how to use them on your Cubase tracks.

Gary starts off with a warm welcome and then jumps right in showing you the differences between Audio Tracks and Audio Events in Cubase 10. He then reveals the powerful Pool Window where all of your audio resides, and how to navigate and use it effectively.

Next, learn how to comp audio in Cubase 10 and create the perfect take, followed by detailed videos on Cubase 10's new VariAudio feature, which allows you to correct your audio pitch, create special effects and harmonies and more. Time saving Key Commands and shortcuts are then shown, guaranteed to speed up your workflow!

Moving on, Gary covers topics like using Audio Process functions in Cubase 10 for even more creative options, using your plug-ins as realtime direct offline processors to help reduce the load on your system, the improved way to sidechain in Cubase 10, and using the new Audio Alignment Tool to match up audio tracks and give your performances a tighter sound and feel.

Wrapping it all up, you'll explore how to use Cubase's Hit Points to detect Transients in an Audio Event, and then convert them to MIDI data so you can use it on a replacement instrument, and how you can use the Sample Instrument in Cubase 10 to resample any of your Audio Events, and then drag an audio event into the Sampler Instrument to easily use its built-in functions and create a new resample instrument.

    Great tutor!Great explanations!

There are many useful videos for instruction in this website. There was a recording bundle which included Helix Native software with Cubase. I decided to purchase that bundle because of my subscription to Groove 3. I look forward to finding a video that explains how to connect the Helix Native software to Cubase - with the help of this website. Thanks for your follow-up.

Very useful tipps and tricks I will surely integrate into my workflow!

I am a: Hobbyist, Musician, Producer, Cubase

Its always the right plaace to get the knowledge you ned

Very clear and explained a lot

    I am a: Hobbyist, Semi-Pro

    very clear instructions

I picked up a good few tips that I did not know This was very helpful

The lesson only covered the basics that one can glean just from messing around with the program. For a lesson about a specific part of Cubase, I expected more in-depth detail. And the monotone while describing the basics was excruciating. Like being told how to walk by putting one foot in front of another, but also having the action of the ankle minutely detailed, when what you need is directions to the bus station, and what is at which stops.

I am a: Hobbyist, Musician, Producer, Sound Designer, Cubase, Logic Pro

So useful, this just what i 've expected

very, very helpful.. mostly covers intermediate level.
