  • Description

This series prepares you for the CompTIA Network+ (N10-008) exam, one of the most important entry-level certifications in the IT industry. In part seven of this series, instructors Mike Meyers and Joe Ramm walk you through networking for wireless, virtual, cloud, and data center environments. Mike and Joe introduce you to 802.11 standards, which are used almost exclusively for wireless connectivity. They explain Power over Ethernet (PoE), wireless security standards, threats to your wireless network, and more. Next, Mike and Joe dive into virtualization and cloud computing, covering the basics, as well as topics like cloud services and ownership, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud implementation. Last, they walk you through network services in data centers, such as enterprise-level data storage, ensuring your network services are consistently available, and creating and maintaining proper data center documentation.
