Translate everything you've learned about on-premises Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), formerly XenDesktop, to the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service (CVADS) in Citrix Cloud in this course.

What You'll Learn?

The instructional design thesis for this learning path has always been "learn on-premises, and then translate what we've learned to Citrix Cloud". In this course, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD): Migrate to Citrix Cloud, you will conclude what you've learned so far and make that change in focus. First, you'll begin by being introduced to Citrix Cloud and the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service. You'll also configure the Citrix Cloud Connector in your on-premises environment. Next, you'll explore the steps in configuring CVADS with an on-premises resource location. Finally, you'll take a look at the migration steps in moving an on-premises CVAD infrastructure to CVADS in Citrix Cloud. By the end of this course, you'll have a better understanding of the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service, or CVADS, one of the many and increasing services now available in Citrix Cloud.
