    This course will prepare you for the Layer 2 section of the CCNP ENCOR exam as well as teach you the necessary skills to operate and troubleshoot Layer 2 networks.

    What You'll Learn?


      In this course, Cisco Enterprise Networks: Layer 2 Foundations, you will learn to configure, operate and troubleshoot layer 2 networks.

      First, you will explore how Layer 2 forwarding is implemented on Cisco switch platforms. Next, you will be introduced to the concept of Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANS) and Trunk interfaces. Finally, you will learn the problems caused by Layer 2 loops and how to eliminate them by using the Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).

      When you are finished with the course, you will have the skills and knowledge to configure, operate and troubleshoot Layer 2 networks, and pass the Layer 2 section of the CCNP ENCOR exam.
