In 2002, as a young graduate student, I attended the International Forum on Human Resources in Rome, Italy. Sitting in the room that day I noticed that 95% of the audience was comprised of men. Bewildered, I thought, “How could the world’s top voices in leadership be mostly men?” With that in mind, I made a pact to myself that one day I would be one of the voices speaking in front of an international forum. And, that the audience would be equally comprised of both male and female leaders. Thus, began my journey into the world of professional speaking training, and coaching. Since that day, having worked in the corporate world for eighteen years, I have shared my expertise in leadership, organizational development, gender pay equity, and HR.
