    Description

What will I learn in this course?

You will learn real-world tasks that data center technicians actually do, by performing those tasks yourself in hands-on labs, along with learning as I demonstrate with real networking equipment.  These skills also fulfill many of the 640-692 CCT, 200-301 CCNA, and some of the Network+ too. So, if you are planning to take either of those exams, you may find this course extremely valuable.

What do I get with this course?

Real-world networking skills, a FREE copy of my book On the Command Line with 100 commands and configurations (also on Amazon), and a CCNAUltimateLabs certificate of achievement to track your professional development.

    How do I register?

Just click the button to begin.

What will I need to take this course?

A desire to learn and a network simulation app such as Packet Tracer or GNS3, or any other simulated environment you prefer.

    When can I learn?

You can begin learning anytime 24/7 at your own pace. The course is yours forever.

    What does this course contain?

CCNA Data Center Technician is a hands-on course where you will learn many real-world common tasks performed by professional data center technicians. ALL subject matter herein also fulfills many of your 200-301 CCNA exam goals.

    Part 1

We will begin by building and configuring our WAN, complete with real-world redundancy via HSRP. We will also learn about the importance of Spanning Tree Protocol and how to administer and monitor its status. These lectures contain information vital to fulfilling many of the 200-301 CCNA and Network+ exam goals.

    Part 2

In part 2 of this course, we configure a DHCP server to operate over a WAN comprised of our SOHO network, cloud network, and a data center. Then we add in cybersecurity measures via Trusted Ports to protect our networks against a man-in-the-middle attack. We add in the ability for our client to log in remotely using SSH, along with other configurations that fulfill 200-301 CCNA and Network+ exam goals. You will also learn new show commands for monitoring and troubleshooting.
