What You'll Learn?

Oftentimes you may find yourself running the same workflow, and each time you run it, you have to go into Designer and update some values/dates in order to reflect the most recent data. And you most likely have several tool combinations that you do all the time and code virtually the same way each time. In this course, Building Alteryx Apps and Macros, you will learn foundational knowledge/gain the ability to dynamically update those values and combine those tools. First, you will learn what an app is, how it relates to a workflow, and how to build one. Next, you will discover how macros can simplify your Alteryx life by combining tools into a new single and separate tool. Finally, you will explore how to run apps in succession, when one app is dependent upon another process. When you're finished with this course, you will have the skills and knowledge of building apps and macros needed to maximize the efficiency of your Alteryx processes.
