    Description

    The need to design more efficiently and with higher quality in construction projects forces us to use tools designed to optimize time and resources. The mastery of Computational and Generative Design opens the possibility of applying a large number of innovative techniques for the conception of projects and the evaluation of multiple alternatives in an efficient and fast way, obtaining unbeatable results.


    In this course, we will address one of the most interesting applications that we currently find within the computational design: Generative Design. Thanks to the previous modules we will have understood how to translate design requirements into programmable rules, now we will be able to use optimization algorithms that iterate over these rules in a range of values previously determined by the designer. This will expand our universe of options from a few alternatives to thousands or hundreds of thousands, resulting in optimal solutions even in the most complex and difficult-to-evaluate cases.

    The possibility of applying new design techniques greatly expands the range of solutions that can be offered to end customers for project execution. At the same time, it gives the designer the opportunity to grow in competitiveness and face new challenges.

Con más de 15 años de experiencia en diseño asistido por computador y un sólido conocimiento acerca del Modelado de Información de Edificaciones he compilado mucha de la experiencia adquirida a través de los años en cursos de capacitación útiles, fáciles de entender y prácticos para el día a día del diseñador. Mis campos de acción incluyen CAD (Computer Aided Design), CAE (Computer Aided Engineering), FEA (Finite Element Analysis), BIM (Building Information Modeling), PM (Project Management). Y aunque me inicié con el estudio de la ingeniería civil, he explorado otras ramas de la ingeniería, participando en proyectos que incluyen la creación de modelos computaciones para la simulación de maquinaria para la extracción de petróleo, análisis no-lineal de cimentaciones especiales, diseño de piezas automotrices, estudio de estabilidad en túneles, entre otros tipo de proyectos.Así mismo, he creado aplicaciones de software dirigido a la administración de procesos y al diseño asistido por computador. También soy programador web, especializándome en aplicaciones web .NET. Tengo experiencia programando en C#, Java, Python, C++, Foltran, JavaScript. Y en lenguajes de etiquetado como HTML5 y CCS3. Como hobby he incursionado en la programación de autómatas programables (PLC) y en la programación en Assembler de micro-controladores. En resumen, me encanta a prender y enseñar.
