  • Description

The Behringer 2600 is a faithful replication of the legendary ARP 2600 synthesizer, in a smaller format and with modern features added in. Watch this in-depth course now, and learn everything you need to know about this semi-modular monster!

    More details

Behringer is back with another faithful recreation of a classic analog synth. This time, they reimagined one of the most popular synths of all time... the ARP 2600.

Created in the early '70s by Alan R. Pearlman (his initials is where the name ARP comes from) with David Friend and Lewis G. Pollock, the ARP 2600 is considered by many to be the holy grail of analog synthesizers. This legendary instrument can be heard on countless classic recordings by Edgar Winter, Stevie Wonder, Depeche Mode and many others. And now that Behringer brings an affordable hardware version of the 2600 to the market, you too can use the 2600 sound in your music productions. This course, by outstanding trainer Rishabh Rajan will guide you through every module and feature of this synth so you can use it to its full potential.

Rishabh starts the course with an overview of the front panel where he takes a quick look at every module and explains the normalled (without patching) audio signal path of the synth. Then, he dives deep into every feature of the synth... You learn all about the 3 Voltaged Controlled Oscilaltors (VCOs), the Voltaged Controlled Filter/Resonator (VCF), the Voltaged Controlled Amplifier (VCA), the envelopes, LFOs, the built-in Reverb, the Mixer, and more. He clearly covers the concept of Hard Syncing oscillators and Ring Modulation, Sample and Hold, and how these features work on the 2600. After watching these 22 tutorials full of sonic and patching examples, you'll have a solid understanding of this powerful semi-modular synth and will be able to program your own patches with confidence.

So get your patch cables ready and join synth expert Rishabh Rajan in this course. Learn everything you need to know about the Behringer 2600 with Rishabh Rajan!
