  • Description

This course examines how resource consistency, observability, and access management work together to create a successful cloud environment in Azure. Join instructor Mike Benkovich as he explores how to operationalize cloud infrastructure and the patterns of cloud application management, focusing on connected services, resource consistency, and automation in Azure. Try out your new skills along the way in practical demos that show you how to define a landing zone, integrate with cloud services, work with infrastructure-as-code tools like ARM and Bicep, and automate with continuous delivery platforms such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. By the end of this course, you’ll be prepared to use Azure's native tools to define compliance and policy and create landing zones for development teams to deliver effective solutions and maintain a well-governed cloud.

    Instructor's Courses
I am a developer, business owner, consultant, cloud architect and online instructor. An alumni of Microsoft from 2004 to 2012 I helped build developer communities across the US thru work on Microsoft Across America, MSDN Events, MSDN Webcasts, DPE and Channel 9. While at Microsoft I helped create and grow developer conferences across the US in various cities including Minneapolis, Chicago, St Louis, Des Moines, Omaha, Tulsa, Dallas, etc. I also co-founded the Azure Boot Camp events (a 2 day event) that were run in cities across the US and at PDC and TechEd before it was transferred to the community. I was at the start of the Azure MVP program, and since 2016 I am excited to be a member of it. I speak at 15-20 conferences and community events per year, and I helped start a Toastmaster club for Geeks called TechMasters where we grow speakers for Conferences. I am a LinkedIn Learning Instructor for Azure, have developed courses for Opsgility and LearnNow Online. I work in Azure Cloud Governance, Application Architecture and Software Delivery consulting.
