More details
DescriptionAutoscaling Group (Auto Scaling) and Load Balancing are the two major important concepts in cloud computing. We will be focusing on AWS EC2 Auto Scaling and Load balancing .The same concept is applicable to Azure and GCP and other Autoscaling and Load Balancer compute platforms. Knowing Autoscaling and Load balancing is a must if you want to work as a Cloud Engineer, Solution Architects and so on.
For just a simple explanation: Load Balancer distributes multiple incoming traffic to instances (EC2) while Auto Scaling Group Scales OUT and Scales IN instances based on changes in demand. Note , these process happens automatically and these are scaled horizontally.
Scale OUT is a process of increasing the capacity of your infrastructure by launching more instances to take care of your load in effect improves performance, high availability and and enhance fault tolerance.
Scale IN is a process of reducing the capacity of your infrastructure by reducing number of instances and so doing reduces cost. I am sure you are beginning to get picture of where we are going.
This will be mainly hands on (Real life Scenario ) and with theoretical , graphical and architectural drawings to make our learning very easy .
Course Prerequisites
You do not need to have any AWS experience to learn this but you must have that desire to learn and have AWS account.
