Vishnu Pendyala

Dr. Vishnu Pendyala is a seasoned Technical Leader with over two decades of development, porting, and DevOps experience in the software industry. He received his PhD in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University. He also holds an MBA(Finance), MS(Comp Eng), and BE(CSE) degrees from Indian and US universities. His recent book, “Veracity of Big Data,” made it to all major libraries, including those of MIT, Stanford, CMU, and internationally.He is a Senior Member of IEEE and has presented and published widely-referenced papers for international conferences and publications. He served as a repeat technical paper reviewer for professional journals and conferences, including the IEEE Computer, the annual IEEE International Conference on E-Commerce from 2003 - 2007, and thirty others over the years. He is a frequent speaker and delivered keynotes and invited talks in international conferences. He served as an Area Governor with Toastmasters International and received the Distinguished Toastmaster, Area Governor of the Year, and Silver Scribe awards.He taught a one-week course sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in November 2017 on “Big Data Analytics for Humanitarian Causes” at Hyderabad, India to ~60 research scholars, most of them, professors (various ranks) of Computer Science including those from New Delhi in the north and Chennai in the south.Vishnu received the Ramanujam memorial gold medal at State Math Olympiad and has been a successful leader during his undergrad years. He also played an active role in Computer Society of India and was the Program Secretary for its annual convention. Marquis Who's Who included Vishnu’s biography in its publications for multiple years. Vishnu spends his fast vanishing spare time volunteering and has been a judge at High School conferences, science fairs and other competitions.
