Shahid M. Shahidullah

Shahid M. Shahidullah is a Professor of Criminal Justice and Cybersecurity in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Hampton University, Virginia, USA. Dr. Shahid was educated in Bangladesh, Canada, and the United States. He received his B.A. and M.A, in sociology from Dhaka University, Bangladesh. From McMaster University in Canada, he received a Master of Arts degree in sociology. Dr. Shahid received his M.P.I.A. (Master of Public and International Affairs) and M.A. and Ph.D., specializing in crime policy analysis from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Shahid has served as a member of the Editorial Board of the Victims and Offenders: International Journal of Evidence-based Theory and Practice and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Developing Societies published in the Netherlands. 1n 2010, he served as a Senior Fellow of the American Institute of Bangladesh Studies, in 2012, he was selected as a Fulbright Specialist Fellow (2012-2017). He authored and co-authored nine books and published several research articles on crime and justice in reputed international peer-reviewed journals.
