Milad Aslaner

Milad Aslaner is a mission focused security professional with more than 10 years of international experience in product engineering, product management and product evangelism for Cybersecurity and Data Privacy. He is an published author and award-winning speaker in worldwide conferences such as Microsoft Ignite, Microsoft Tech Summit and Microsoft Build.With his background Milad Aslaner is regularly advising Fortune 500 companies and government agencies on the emerging threats and help prepare them against cybercrime, hacktivism and cyber terrorism. He has been with Microsoft since March 2012. In his recent roles, he was leading the Microsoft Surface commercial engineering team for Surface Book, Surface Laptop and build with his development team security features such as Surface Enterprise Management Mode (SEMM) and was responsible for the Cybersecurity strategy of Microsoft Germany.As Senior Program Manager inside the Windows engineering team he is responsible for the customer experience of Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection. With that he has a clear focus on helping organizations to protect, detect and respond to some of the worlds most sophisticated cyber-attacks and contribute to the future direction of the product line.
