Goncalo Marques

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, and a big fan of games since an early age, I've been an active gamer since the age of 6. In my first year of college I realized I could combine my passion for video games with programming, in order to create that which I love so much. I lectured a workshop on the basics of UE4 in my university, Instituto Superior Técnico, in which I took a Master's in Computer Science. In 2017, I worked as a freelancer for a portuguese startup, Sensei Tech, where I developed an internal system using UE4 to produce datasets that assist with machine learning. I've since participated in several projects as a freelancer and offered 1-on-1 support for multiple developers. In August 2018 I released a free and open-source plugin called UI Navigation, which has garnered an extremely positive reception with over 100K downloads. Currently I work at Funcom ZPX, which has contributed to such games as Conan Exiles, Mutant Year Zero and Moons of Madness.
