The Art for Beginners: Draw & Paint 8 Fearless Animals With Acrylic Paint course may be just what you are looking for! Designed with beginners in mind, this course is suitable for ALLÂ AGES. With a total of 8 fun and unique drawing and painting projects, students will learn the skills to create masterpieces of their own long after the course is complete.
There are three steps in each art project:
Step 1: Draw the Design on Paper
Step 2: Outline the Design With Paint
Step 3: Apply Paint to the Design
The process used to teach each art project is a step-by-step method that will inspire and delight the beginner artist into drawing and painting action! This process involves observing, following instructions, and creating until the student is happy with the outcome.
Students will learn basic drawing and acrylic painting techniques and apply these techniques to complete each project. The Art for Beginners: Draw & Paint 8 Fearless Animals With Acrylic course is designed to give students the tools they need to begin their artistic journey into self-expression, reflection, and creative thinking.
Before each art lesson begins, students will be presented with a video that provides scientific facts and images about each animal. These facts and images will help students make important connections between art and science.
Supplies and materials needed for this course:
heavy white paper
paint (acrylic, tempera, or poster paints): black and white, plus your choice of colors
paintbrushes (small, medium, and large flat paintbrushes)
pencil with eraser
paper towels
palette (paper plates work great!)
mat to cover work space
