Why should I get certified?There are three main reasons why you should earn a privacy certification.First, it demonstrates expertise. International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) certificates are the GOLD STANDARD of privacy certificates. Having an IAPP certificate such as the CIPP/US demonstrates that you have a strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations.Second, privacy certificate holders earn a higher salary. According to the 2023 IAPP Privacy Professional Salary Survey, holders of one IAPP certificate earned 13% MORE than non-certificate holders. Holders of two or more IAPP certificates earned 27% more!
