This course looks at the changing role of a software tester on an Agile software development team. It reviews how testing concepts, practices and techniques differ between agile and traditional software testing approaches. Participants will learn and apply concepts and techniques in real world inspired exercises and check their knowledge and understanding using sample questions. The course will cover materials tested by and prepare participants for taking the ISTQBÂ® Agile Tester Extension certification exam.

Introduce participants to agile software development methodologies and discuss the changes to the role, activities and skills needed for a software tester in an agile work environment
Develop a broad understanding of agile software testing concepts, practices and techniques.
Prepare participants to confidently and successfully challenge the ISTQBÂ® Agile Tester Extension certification exam
Ensure participants can actively apply what they have learned in practical exercises that model real world software testing activities
Course Specifications
This course is the online version of Aspiricityâ€™s Agile Software Testing course, which was written based on the ISTQBÂ® Agile Tester Extension syllabus. The total time to complete the course will vary due to individual time required to complete quizzes and exercises. The course contains nearly five hours of video lecture content, six exercises throughout the course, and three quizzes (at the end of each chapter).
