Need for shelter and infrastructure is crucial for human beings, so the Construction industry is very important to meet our vital requirements. This means, there is an endless potential of new Construction projects. However, the construction industry is alarming because of environmental issues, talent gap, increasing costs causing unaffordability, and this list goes on.
We must eliminate waste, increase productivity, attract new talent and technology to the industry and increase collaboration for innovation. In short, we must change the way we work.
Since 2000â€™s Agile management approaches and entrepreneur mindset changed our world and the way of business so much, but yet you may have heard that Agile management approaches are for IT projects and companies, and as Construction industry we should continue using classical management approaches.
In this course we will get through why classical management approaches donâ€™t work any more and the differences between classical and agile mindsets.
We will also use some practices of agile management approaches, to experience how it works. However kindly be aware of that agility is much more than using some methods and practices. It is about transforming to autonomous and learning organizations to thrive in today's volatile environment.
This course will only introduce you agile mindset and the use of SCRUM approach in Construction. Agile transformation is an endless journey from learning agile to being agile. And becoming agile takes time and Collective effort of your organization from top to bottom.
You can use agile management approaches not only for your Construction projects but for any kind of projects like transformation for sustainability, digital transformation and enhancing your way of working to achieve your organizational goals and KPIs.
