About Academic WritingLearn More
Developing your writing skills is an important part of your college education. You need to understand the different types of academic writing you should use and how to plan and structure your work and cite your sources properly.
Academic writing is formal, objective (impersonal) and technical, and avoids ordinary or colloquial language, such as informal vocabulary. We should avoid referring directly to people or emotional matters and instead emphasize on objective matters, impersonal facts and ideas, and finally do not forget to use the special words of that field and its specialized and technical expressions.
Writing academic texts (Academic Writing) due to their special style and designed for publication in scientific journals and presentation in scientific conferences, must be written carefully and observing many points of writing rules.
