  • Description

If you have 3D designs that you want to take from 3ds Max and make interactive, you’ve probably already explored using Unreal Engine. In this course, Brian Bradley shows you some potential workflows for transferring assets from 3ds Max into Unreal in as clean and easy a manner as possible, including some of the potential problems and pitfalls that you can run into along the way. Brian first covers the steps you should take in 3ds Max to get your scenes ready for export in a quick and straightforward manner. Then, he gets into how to fix some of the common problems that might arise at different points along the production process. After this course, you’ll be better equipped to transfer your assets smoothly and spend less time moving your files around and more time working in Unreal.

As a long standing User of 3ds Max who started with version 2.0 of the Software I used it and other applications such as Adobe Photsoshop to produce Graphics on a Freelance basis under the 'Geonome' Business name for some 15 years. In September 2007 I along with my son Joel started to produce video training for 3ds Max, Vray, and Mental Ray under the MentalBoutMax brand. Up to 2012 these had been watched and enjoyed by 3ds Max Artists on every Continent of the Globe. As of 2013 we began to focus our energies more towards producing training for established training facilities and online libraries such as Lynda.com as this has allowed us to branch into using a more divers product portfolio. Current Specialities include 3d content creation applications such as; 3ds Max and Blender. Rendering and Lighting Technology including the; VRay, Cycles and Unreal render engines. Also Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro And After Effects.
