In .NET MAUI: Beyond the Basics, instructor Kevin Ford guides you deeper into MAUI development. This course digs a little deeper into .NET MAUI and examines some of the often-overlooked layouts and features that can help make your development in MAUI more effective and help your apps reach the next level. Kevin explains the layout cycle, then goes into detail on StackLayout vs. Grid, FlexLayout, AbsoluteLayout, and TableView. He goes over the differences in controls for CollectionView and ListView, as well as controlling layouts, collapsing groups, dynamic data loading, and more. Kevin shows you how to reference custom views in XAML and goes into specifying generics, creating markup extensions and view states, and more. He deep dives into advanced data binding with topics like ancestor bindings, binding to views, value converters with multiple bindings, and what to do when data binding goes wrong.
